The IACP’s goal is to offer relevant and timely education and training to help attendees do their jobs more effectively and make their agencies more successful. The IACP seeks the very best, most relevant, and most thought‐provoking ideas in order to deliver content pertinent to the law enforcement profession.

*NEW* The IACP has adjusted the educational session schedule to conform with adult learning best practices. Workshops times will now range from 20 minutes to an hour and a half in length. Shorter sessions have been found to be more focused and effective, and the shorter sessions will also provide space for more topics to be covered over the course of the conference.

The IACP 2016 education program will include topics that address contemporary or emerging issues confronting the law enforcement profession and the leaders of law enforcement agencies worldwide. Some topics include:

• Community-Police Relations
• Going Dark – Challenges of Gathering Electronic Evidence
• Critical Incident Management Training
• Investigation of Use of Force Issues
• Crisis Intervention Training
• Body Cameras & Law Enforcement Technology
• Combatting Violent Extremism/Terrorism
• Officer Health and Wellness
• Police Recruitment
